Aashiya’s story...so far
Aashiya’s mother was an Indian Princess from Tanjore India, an area rich in culture, history and arts. When Aashiya’s mother fell in love with an American businessman, she was shunned by her family, forcing her to leave India and settle in Paris, where she married her American businessman.
Aashiya was born. At the age of twelve Aashiya lost her mother to a tragic motor accident during the notorious Paris to Dakar race. Thankfully her busy father sent Aashiya to only the best schools in Rome, New York, London etc. amidst his hectic business life travelling the world.
After her fathers death, Aashiya soon realised her father was not the wealthy businessman she had once thought… in fact he died leaving her a great financial debt… but also a great wealth with her education, independence and worldly knowledge.
Aashiya forged her career becoming a strong, independent, beautifully fashionable, internationally renowned and successful businesswoman. She repaid her fathers debt and often travels the world seeking out original and exclusive fashion and art.
Aashiya never forgot the children she often saw living in poverty while she travelled and knew they would not have the opportunity to access education as she did. She herself knew the path out of poverty was education… So has vowed with each gallery she opens a % of profits will be donated to charities providing education opportunities to underprivileged or homeless children. Now Aashiya has settled in Australia her first Gallery in Drummoyne has chosen Father Riley’s “Youth off the streets” as her first worthy charity.
So please remember, anything you purchase will not only be original and fabulous but a % will go towards a worthy cause.
