Dianne Faccin

The artist was born in England and spent her early childhood in Kent, "The Garden of England".  Educated in Adelaide, she went on to become a dental nurse, but has always pursued an interest in painting.

In 1985 she took up part time study of oil painting and later watercolour and pastel under the tutelage of A. Pozenel, Lorraine Hancox, Arthur Phillips and Ross Paterson.  Her present distinctive style has evolved as it gradually became clear that she has a strong feel for color and a lifelong love of flowers.

The artist is currently a member of both the Adelaide Arts Society and the Royal South Australian Society of Arts.  Her present venues for displaying work include Kengsington Gallery, The Barn, Chapel Hill and Woodstock Wineries in Adelaide and DeWard Fine Art Gallery in Brisbane.  She has also exhibited in Sweden, USA and Arabia.

Dianne currently conducts watercolour workshops and tutorials which have proved very popular.

At present she is continuing her work based on a lifelong interest and love for flowers.
